$240k pivot, peptide drama, and other updates

I can't remember the last time I went this long between newsletters.

If you read the last one, you know I experimented with peptides. And it kind of messed me up. Not saying they're bad across the board. But I'm done experimenting with that stuff for a while.

In some ways I'm physiologically better than ever. In other ways, something still feels off. So, I've been recovering. My days have been more monastic. Less noise.

Honestly? That time gave me space to go deeper on research for you all.

Here's what I found:

1. Stop scattering your resume. Write one for one real job.

Especially if you're targeting niched, high-paying roles. What I'm seeing in the field right now: roughly 1 callback for every 5 resumes submitted, but only if the resume is actually tailored to that posting.

Companies that want to hire have a budget and a real need. Your job is to submit a proposal that makes you look like the obvious answer. You have to apply manually. I'll write a full email on this. It's worth a dedicated breakdown.

2. Niches still matter. A lot.

I recently coached someone through leaving their job. He doubled his income by using his past experience to niche down (Guess which?). New target earnings as an engineer: $240k, base of $170k.

More on this soon too.

I'm feeling clearer than I have in months. Better sense of what content to put out and how to actually help people move.

One thing I've confirmed: the 1-on-1 live element changes everything. That's where you can get most value from me. The past months just confirms this more.

That said, I know it's not the right fit for everyone. So, I'll keep putting out what I can here.

Yours truly,
